FILASSE

Hemp filasse can be used in many ways in your habitat.

The most common use is insulation of walls, floors, attics or roofs. Hemp yarn is a fairly versatile product,its advantage, as insulation, is the fact that it can be laid in bulk in hard-to-reach places where insulating panels are not appropriate. Example: The connections between the walls and windows, the roof or on either side of the beams.

The filasse can be incorporated into a soilcoating, a clay monolayer coating or a lime coating. This insulating mixture will be used to fill the gaps between masonry and carpentry. Hemp filasse will contribute to the hygrometric or breathable regulatory power of soil coating.
